Edmondson’s Hearts of Love Nonprofit Organization is passionate about transforming the lives of young Children from all walks of life, helping them become beacons of hope in their communities. Their programs have served over 200 African-American, Latino, and Caucasian families from low-income families as well as Domestic Violence.
Empowerment through education
Founder and CEO Damon Thomas has dedicated his life to discussing the need for awareness, education, and resources for male survivors of abuse (sexual, domestic violence, etc.) and the issues that too often stem from abuse (drug addiction, trust issues, communication barriers). In addition, his critical work is tied into his upcoming program series, in development, called Men of Courage where abuse and trauma are further discussed through interviews of male survivors.
